Bike Fest Guided Mountain Bike Rides
There will be guided Mountain (MtB) Rides of all levels offered at the WNY Bike Fest. Ride Leaders are experienced Leaders from area Bicycling Clubs. Bring your bike in good mechanical condition and helmet to participate. Riders are encouraged to have a seasonal tune-up so your bike is ready to ride at the Fest.
Check out the park’s trail descriptions and download a map of them HERE.
The level of each ride is determined by the terrain and the duration of the ride. Trails in Dryer Road Park are coded by difficulty. Easy rides will be lead at a slower pace than Advanced rides.
Roadies new to mountain biking, and riders who have only ridden on trails just a few times are asked to use flat pedals with no cages or clips.
Any bicycle with tires wider than 35 mm and purchased as a trail-specific bike will be appropriate for these rides. Do not use a hybrid bike for Dryer Road Park trails.
People with no adult biking experience are urged to try the skills area next to the parking lot or the hill at the north end of the grounds to become comfortable with the feel of a mountain bike before joining a guided ride.
